We're striving to evolve and create the best mobile experience for our millions of users. As the Head of Technical Operations at Viggle, you will lead and set the strategic direction of our technical operational efforts, which support our dynamic second screen product. You?ll also manage our systems administration team, our IT team and our QA team. Additionally, you?ll partner with both our technology leadership and business leadership.
You will manage and lead 10+ people which include Systems Administrators and IT folks whom maintain and optimize our 24/7 systems for our consumer mobile product. You will partner with business and technical leadership in owning and driving operational projects.
You will ensure the operational capacity of our systems, work with our software team and manage external vendors to ensure successful software deliveries.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
A track record of leading technical operations teams to deliver business-changing results year-over-year.
The depth and breadth of knowledge to understand the details of cloud, co-lo and local based infrastructure.
Managed various relationships with key technical partners both internally and with vendors.
Managed a budget for and procured hardware, data center resources and other infrastructure needs to run a business.
Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.
Excellent people development, recruitment and communication skills.
The experience/skills you?ll have are:
Seven or more years of experience in the technical operations field.
Five or more years of experience as a Systems Administrator and/or Technical Business Analyst with previous hands-on systems engineering experience.
Managed a technical operations team of 5 or more for 3 years or more.
A track-record of ensuring the operational capacity of large-scale software projects, preferably in the mobile space.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
