Position:
This person works with both business and information technology professionals (internal and external) to plan and execute the building of a new private health care exchange solution. The role includes, coordinating staff, creating implementation strategy and providing technical expertise to ensure the exchange architecture is operational and secure throughout the build and operations phases. While the solution is being developed, this role encompasses resolving technical issues and expanding on relationships with carrier partners and state/federal exchange executives. This is a hands-on position that requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage data with efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
? Research and consolidate best practices for integration with State, carrier and Fed exchange entities
? Responsible for planning and coordinating all integration activities surrounding the technology development of the Extend Health Corporate
Exchange platform with external partners (the Fed, States, carrier partners) and internal resources
? Build new strategic relationships with carrier partners and state HIX entities in order to drive action and produce optimization and efficiency.
? Serve as central liaison between the organization?s technology team and carrier partners
? Build and manage simultaneous internal & external project plans with a focus to detail to ensure deadlines are met.
? Define and manage metric reporting for both internal departments and external partners
? Help develop new metrics that track the progress of your role as well as the dept. as a whole.
? Develop and maintain relationships with carrier/HIX partners via regularly scheduled calls. Process communication in an efficient and professional
manner.
? Review technology processes from external partners to try to create uniformity and scalability across all environments.
Qualifications:
? Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with partners, collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing those
details into solutions, and providing technical support;
? Experience investigating, designing and implementing creative solutions to customer needs using available applications.
? Experience using data scrubbing and normalization techniques
? Experience in the tracking and creation of data metrics and data presentation
? Advanced Excel skills
? High proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 suite
? Comfortable with a flexible process-flow structure and changing priorities
? Ability to organize, prioritize, and to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
? Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
