The Project Manager reports to the VP of Client Services and is responsible for driving all phases of projects including client communications, planning, coordination of resources and activities, monitoring of financials and milestones, reporting progress and escalation of issues throughout the project implementation. The Project Manager also identifies and closes add-on business opportunities within their assigned client base.
The ideal candidate will have proven success managing multiple, concurrent projects in a hospital software environment.
Project Management: The Project Manager is the focal point for multiple, concurrent implementation projects that vary in size and scope. The Project Manager is accountable for the following aspects of each project:
Scope: Tracks scope against the client contract and follows the Streamline change management processes.
Resources: Maximizes the use of shared resources across the organization.
Cost: Minimizes costs to increase profitability.
Revenue: Accurately forecasts and monitors project revenue.
Quality: Ensures the services delivered meet or exceed client expectations.
Communications: Provides timely, clear, concise and complete communication within Streamlineand to the clients.
Risk : Identifies risks and escalated appropriately
Client Satisfaction: The Project Manager serves as the liaison between Streamline and the client during an implementation and works internally to ensure all contract goals are met and product/service issues are resolved.
Add-on Sales: The Project Manager identifies and closes add-on business within their client base. The Project Manager also assists the Streamline Sales Team in the preparation of new sales quotes and may assist with other aspects of the sales process as requested.
Support: The Project Manager assists and often drives client support and issue resolution for their client base by coordinating resources across the company and escalating as necessary to achieve resolution. This also includes implementing product upgrades as they are made available.
Minimum of 3-5 years of Project Management experience in Hospital/Healthcare Information Management (HIM) setting with demonstrable experience with standardized Project Management best practices.
Current PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
Two years of practical Hospital/Healthcare Information Management (HIM) experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Proven ability to work successfully within a matrixed, cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent relationship building, time management and organizational skills.
Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
Ability to travel approximately 50% on average. This is very dependent on the requirements for each project
Knowledge of the following is highly desirable;
o Microsoft Project and Project Server
o Microsoft's SharePoint Server
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Preferred location is in Atlanta, GA. Exceptional candidates will be considered for other locations.
Air travel required as is ability to drive to client locations across the US and Canada.
