Everyday Health is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our growing Health Reach team, a new Business Unit of Everyday Health. This person will be the primary pre and post-sales point of contact for our advertisers, and s/he will work closely with Sales team to ensure that our clients? needs are met.
Support and manage the client acquisition process; the upsell of existing business
Utilize outstanding research and creative skills to redefine how media clients are acquired by Everyday Health.
Work with internal clients across multiple departments ? Sales, Client Services, Business Development, AdOps and Analytics ? and external clients/advertisers to
Develop focused, insightful strategies to effectively/efficiently execute tactical plans with client goals in mind
Create plans to maximize revenue opportunities utilizing the best sites, the most precise page placements and appropriate ad size mix for major national agencies and advertisers
Utilize and grow your industry, vertical and client expertise and to use historical campaign information
Assure that potential clients are getting the best possible package put together for new incremental revenue opportunities as well as for continued relationships.
Establish packages based on inventory and market trends to guide Sales on greatest return deals (full RFP process)
Support Account Executives on proposals to secure new buys and upsells/renewals
Strive for continued improvement and execute on enhanced business processes, tools and recommendations
Hold frequent de-briefing and media plan meetings with Ad Operations and Yield Management teams to recommend deals that drive best future results
RFP management: create, maintain and improve RFP repository, tracking system and monitor lifecycle
Provide continuous internal and external customer service (client and team inquires, requests)
Train internal media proposal team and relevant stakeholders as required for enhance improvement, update training guide as needed
Post-sales/Client Services responsibilities:
Point of contact for all client interaction
Report on 3rd party tracking and reporting
DFA, Atlas, PointRoll, MediaMind, etc.
Strategizing with clients on campaign performance and optimizations
Point of contact for Sales for reporting, optimizations, and general campaign questions
Manage the receipt of creative input and materials from clients
Submit creative tags from clients to AdOperations
Collaborate with the AdOperations team to reach revenue and client goals
Maintain client approvals / documentations in SalesForce
Handle revised Insertion Orders
Work with the Finance team on billing reconciliation
Work with yield management, business intelligence and research teams to optimize campaigns
Create case studies (quarterly & wrap up), performance reviews and analyses
Present key learnings and insight to clients, sales and sales planners for renewals
Four (4) year college or university degree in marketing or related field
2+ years working within digital media, ad operations and or client services
Experience with multiple ad serving platforms: DART (DFA/DFP, 3rd Party vendor: Atlas, MediaMind and or Pointroll).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce skills
Constantly drives for results, knows how to set objectives and break work down into steps, knows how to organize and measure people and activities and manages project interdependencies
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and the ability to influence others
Online publishing experienced required
Demonstrated analytical skills and passion for analyzing data, products, companies and market trends, dynamics
Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products internally and externally
Excellent written and oral communication skills with outstanding presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
Understanding of competitive landscape of interactive advertising and media networks
Knowledge of media planning/buying and experience supporting a direct sales organization highly regarded
Develop sound strategic frameworks, make recommendations and demonstrate thought leadership
Demonstrated experience in and enthusiasm for agency, publishing or media industry
