Job Responsibilities:
New Hire and Term Portal Tasks need to be reviewed several times a day worked in a timely manner (needs to reviewed through out the day)
Monitor email and phone for helpdesk requests
Printer maintenance
Server log checks
Server Room kept in an orderly manner
Work on projects as assigned
Provide resolution to common issues and errors mainly in the form of Portal tasks, emails and phone calls
Provide computer software and hardware support for local, and remote users
Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of computer, phone, network and server hardware and software as needed
Provides end-user software troubleshooting and support
Provides phone and help desk support for local and off-site users
Job Qualifications:
Formal education or equivalent job experience in Information Technology required
Should be reliable, hard-working and a fast learner
Must be able to work a set scheduled but will have times on weekends where flexible schedules are needed
Exceptional problem solving skills
Must be able to work and travel with minimal supervision
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent time-management skills
Must have reliable transportation (not close to public transportation)
Experience:
Real world experience with Windows (all major versions)
Real world experience with Adobe products, Office products, communicator, etc.
Must have a thorough understanding of TCP/IP addressing
Real world experience with ethernet technologies / wiring
Real world experience having worked on a live help desk
Real world experience supporting Cell Phones, iPhone, BlackBerry, PDA, Wireless cards
