Help Desk Technician Voxiva
The environment: All of our external services run in our own private cloud. We use Cisco firewalls, VMware and Dell servers and buy space in a SAS 70 environment. We back-up to a cloud storage provider and will soon have disaster recovery capabilities in the cloud. Our development and operations center is in our own India office. We have a development and QA environment in the US and India, and a production environment in the US. Since we work in the health care industry, security is of paramount importance. Our portable and desktop computing is encrypted and we are regularly audited against ISO 27002 and the HIPAA audit protocol.
The job: If you want to be an important part of a team running an IT infrastructure that serves hundreds of thousands of users this is the job for you. Our small team in the US works with a larger team in India. You will be responsible for incoming help desk tickets assigned to you and helping keep the external and internal infrastructure on which our business operates up and running. Please note: this position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
The person: If you understand how to handle and take care of all of the stuff described above, are seriously well organized and just plain love a hands-on technology role this would be your perfect job. You?ll need 2-4 years of IT experience, know your way around Helpdesk Ticketing System, and have knowledge of Dell & HP computers and printers. If you have knowledge of Cisco firewalls and VMWare, then we really want to hear from you.
