HIM Product Manager CodeRyte

As HIM Product Manager, you will take primary responsibility for managing day to day marketing support activities intended to grow CodeRyte computer assisted coding related software product lines which includes various products for both the hospital and physician ICD/CPT coding environment using natural language processing. You will work with the product development team members to examine and articulate clients use coded information in their daily workflow, and help to transform client needs into product requirements. You will also work with health care industry colleagues, customers, and prospective customers to research other tools used by client and understand how our products are used in the market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Provide feedback around product, positioning, pricing, promotions, and assist in product strategic road mapping as well as the building of business cases as appropriate supporting product enhancements and launches.
? Assist in planning of activities to increase the profitability of existing products and assistance via market research and planning to develop new products for the company via various campaigns and tactics.
? Interact with existing customers and targeted prospects to insure the product is being enhanced and managed to reflect current industry needs and resolve operational pains including detailed market validation & research.
? Develop and maintain communications and sales support tools to best create return on investment, awareness and brand identification for the product line including sales guides and personas and make recommendations on new activities.
? You must be a self starter and able to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.
? Communicate effectively with all areas of the company, in writing and orally and you will interact professionally with other CodeRyte employees, professional associations, other vendors, purchasing organizations, educators, competitors, consultants, journalists, and other individuals to help identify key business opportunities.
? Perform additional market research through client validation, win/loss analyses, and contextual design and via industry and user events as well as gather competitive intelligence on an ongoing basis.
? Support trade show and other sales activities, user groups, and other educational forums, including the development of presentation of educational materials.
? Prioritize product enhancements and assist in resolving customer problems where appropriate.
? Work with an engineering (product development) counterpart to define product functional requirements for new product design and assist in the beta testing process and help to ideate new product offerings.
? You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
? Work with the marketing communications agencies or staff to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
? Assist in providing presentations and training at a local, national, in person, and via webinar training activities, particularly around product development and enhancement and new product launches as well as industry expert topics.

Need
? 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience desired.
? Knowledge management skills for decision support in applications of CodeRyte NLP technology
? Able to demonstrate excellent proficiency with computer software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
? Experience with healthcare software systems, particularly chargemaster management, financial management, and business intelligence tools, highly preferred.
? Experience with software/technology product launches, Pragmatic Marketing training, and market research desired.
? Minimum Bachelor?s Degree/Master?s Degree Preferred; Marketing and/or Healthcare Background Strongly Preferred.
? CCS, RHIT, RHIA, and/or CPC certification highly desired along with AHIMA and/or AAPC membership

Ideal

? Understands or has experience using CodeRyte NLP technology, or other CAC (computer assisted coding) technologies.
? Able to explain coding issues to non-coders.
? Good at analyzing medical records to identify patterns of documentation.
? Knowledge management skills for decision support in applications of CodeRyte NLP technology.
