Department: Outreach Type: Full Time Min. Experience: ExperiencedWe?re looking for a creative and ambitious Home Decor / Improvement Evangelist to extend our reach in the industry. As a member of our Strategic Outreach team, you will develop partnerships and build relationships leading and up-and-coming influencers in the home decor and home improvement space?publications, bloggers, home goods designers/retailers, landscape/gardening experts, influential DIYers, local hardware stores, architects, interior designers, handimen, carpenters, etc.
What you'll do:
Foster relationships between Tumblr and representatives and leaders of the home decor and improvement industry to grow our audience in that world.
Help home decor and improvement individuals and organizations get started on Tumblr and creatively leverage our platform to amplify their voice in our community.
Harness the broad potential for home decor and improvement on Tumblr by finding and encouraging new ways to interact with the audience on Tumblr through innovative partnerships and content creation strategies.
Build out use cases and best practice resources for home decor and improvement brands.
Advocate Tumblr to the home decor and improvement community at large, nationally and internationally.
What you?ve got:
Widespread experience in the home decor and improvement world and deep knowledge of the industry?s opportunities and challenges.
Passion for Tumblr, an extensive understanding of our features and how they can best be used by the home decor and improvement community.
Established relationships (hello rolodex!) in the home decor and improvement industry.
Superb writing, presentation, and project management skills.
Innovative spirit and a desire to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
BA / BS degree.
