Airport-Hotel Shuttle Service Supervisor/Dispatcher Job Profile and Description
The Airport-Hotel Shuttle Supervisor oversees the operation of shuttle service drivers to transfer airline passengers between airports and hotels or between either of these points to major points in the city. They are tasked to supervise anywhere from 10-20 shuttle buss drivers and is responsible in monitoring their productive whereabouts at any point along the route using 2-way radios.
Airport-Hotel Shuttle Service Supervisor/Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise shuttle bus or coach drivers to ensure they follow regulations and schedules within productive shifts.
Develop the shift schedules for operators to follow in line with scheduled arrival times for transfers to hotels.
Ensure city arrival and departure times when picking up passengers from hotels and designated city points.
Ensure enough manpower complement to operate shuttle services during peal times.
Collect time attendance sheets of driver.
Communicate with drivers on the field with two-way radios to check on their location and progress in meeting schedules.
Direct the maintenance of shuttles reported to have technical problems
Assist the company HR in interviewing applicants for the job
Prepare and submit daily and weekly production and incident reports to the operations manager.
Airport-Hotel Shuttle Service Supervisor/Dispatcher Skills and Specifications
Must be a holder of a valid commercial driver?s license (CDL)
Excellent organizational, leadership and supervisory skills to handle 10-20 drivers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A high school diploma is basic but a 1-2 year post secondary education is preferred.
2-3 years experience in a supervisory position is an advantage
