We are seeking a HR Assistant who will help support our rapid growth. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing support to all aspects of the human resources function and customer service to all employees in a fast paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being busy, wearing multiple hats in Human Resources, and interacting with a diverse workforce.
Roles and Responsibilities
Process Pre-Employment Background Checks with vendor to determine candidate?s employment eligibility, follow up on requests regularly for updates and notify HR Staff of results.
Support HR team with conference room scheduling and set up, assemble training materials and handouts, coordinate conference room and equipment requirements with IT/Facilities, distributes HR communications, send employee invites, follow up with reminders, and coordinate catering.
Assemble and mail welcome baskets to new hires.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Knowledge, skills, abilities
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of workload.
Ability to work with a professionally attitude in a highly fast paced environment with high customer service skills and good communication skills.
Bachelor's degree (HR, Business Administration or a related field.)
At least 2 years? related experience as a Human Resources Assistant
Experience within a high tech organization preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills
Microsoft experience using Outlook calendar for meeting requests, tracking and editing documentation with Word, creating PowerPoint presentation, working with excel pivot tables, charts and graphs
