Vertafore is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Sales &
Marketing functions. This role will be a fully integrated member of the Sales & Marketing teams and will work to build and lead an integrated HR approach for organizational development that will include performance management, talent management, development, and culture and engagement initiatives.
Facilitate the development and alignment of the Vertafore Sales and Marketing teams to achieve best in class performance standards and results. This role will be a fully integrated member of the Sales & Marketing teams and will work to build and lead an integrated HR approach for organizational development that will include performance management, talent management, development, and culture and engagement initiatives.
Build leadership and management capability in Sales & Marketing that will drive performance excellence at all levels within the functions.
Execute performance and talent management programs for the sales and marketing.
Ensure organizational design is clear and that performance standards and accountabilities align. Work with Sales and Marketing leaders to establish an operating cadence for the sales team, establishing goals, engaging the team and driving for results.
Refine and develop the Sales competencies for all levels of the organization, align selection, development and succession standards.
Work with the internal learning and development team to align initiatives for the sales function to drive performance and process improvements.
Work in conjunction with Sales Operations to ensure the compensation framework is aligned to desired performance outcomes and competitive market positioning.
Drive employee engagement through innovative and systemic communication and recognition processes.
Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure a robust pipeline of sales talent is available, internally and externally, to meet current and future business needs.

5-7 years experience as a HR business partner in a sales / service environment. 10 years plus HR experience.
Experience working directly with senior business leaders.
Strong track record in organizational development
Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred
15% travel time
