This newly created role will be based in our Corporate Head office located in Newtown, PA. We are looking for a senior HR professional who knows what it takes to enable and support a fast growing technology company and has experience supporting employees in a decentralized consulting environment. This is both a critical and dynamic role within business and will work with the senior leaders of specific Business Units within the USA.
The successful incumbent will be a strong collaborator, possess the ability to deal with ambiguity, and quickly serve as an active contributor to our human resources team. This role provides human resources leadership, consulting support and advice to management and staff to successfully deliver against business unit and divisional human resources strategies. In addition, this role will contribute to the future business strategies by helping to identify, and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes. This position will liaise with key business stakeholders and other functional areas of human resources, legal and finance teams.
Minimum of 8 years progressive human resources generalist knowledge along with functional mastery in employee relations;
5+ years of progressive US employment law knowledge, with a preference towards knowledge of NY / NJ / PA and CA legislation;
Demonstrated experience in building lasting relationships with employees and leaders;
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills;
Strong coaching and feedback skills;
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills;
Superior verbal and written communications;
Ability to influence stakeholders as required;
Post-secondary education required in related discipline.
Bilingual in English and Russian;
Background of working in HR in an IT consulting environment.
Functions as an integral part of both the business and human resources teams;
Provides expert leadership in areas of talent management, employee engagement, coaching and change management;
Liaises with other teams within the organization to achieve desired outcomes;
Provides human resources data, information, direction and advice to business leaders in identifying business specific issues, influencing decisions and implementing human resources programs and practices that support business objectives;
Acts as a management coach;
Ensures leaders are fully versed on company policies and practices ensuring compliance with all human resources related processes and legal requirements;
Provides business unit support in the implementation and training of human resources programs including the annual compensation cycle, talent review, engagement survey review etc.
Managing a distributed team of HR staff across the US, with approximately 10% travel to the west coast and relatively regular travel between our Global HQ in Newtown, and other offices in Pennsylvania, New York City, New Jersey and occasionally Connecticut.
