The HRBP carries out all phases of Human Resources Management, including delivery of all HR services and products. Interprets policies and ensures that policies and processes are communicated and implemented. As part of the Senior HR Management Team, this role will be responsible and accountable for defining, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives to improve organizational performance and develop organizational capability. This individual will partner with our business leaders as a coach and architect in the areas of performance management, compensation, employee relations, benefits, policy and procedures, retention of key-talent, change management, communications and organizational effectiveness. Accountable for delivery of effective HR products and services to client groups, aligned with clients strategic objectives.
Provide leadership and linkage with other human resource functions (i.e. Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation etc) at Jawbone for the implementation and delivery of services.
Provide Employee Relations support and work to develop strong work teams within client groups.
Effectively manage the Performance Management process and partner with Organizational Development experts to build employee skill sets.
Act as the client group champion in ensuring alignment between Human Resource policies/programs and business imperatives.
Act as a change agent. Provide subject matter expertise and education to client group on effective change management.
Resolve problems and issues within scope of responsibilities.
Works with Legal, Finance and other departments as needed to ensure proper handling of problems and issues. Negotiates and mediates issues and problems.
Mentors and counsels management.
Candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in an HR leadership role with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
