MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Writes new position descriptions.
Reviews existing position descriptions and updates as needed.
Provides assistance to HR Specialists on job analysis and the selection of questions from the agencies automated staffing question library, as well as on the appropriateness of developing new questions.
Provides guidance to managers and HR Specialists on writing of specialized experience for each classification.
Reviews vacancy announcements to ensure accuracy, legality, et. al.
Bachelor's degree +3 years' experience, or 6 years' experience without bachelors
Must have experience classifying various position including engineers
Must have Substantive knowledge of and experience in federal position classification concepts, principles, and practices related to structuring organizations and positions.
Experience making FLSA determinations required.
Must be a US Citizen.
