UnitedLex is seeking an HR Director who will support the companys rapid growth through hands-on leadership and execution in all facets of Human Resources and Benefits Management. The HR Director is a key member of the executive team, developing and executing a human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and direction. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive strategic plans to meet the human capital needs of UnitedLex, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, on-boarding, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits.
Act as primary communications officer, creating and disseminating critical announcements and communicating company milestones and personal achievements to staff.
Coordinate immigration processes for global team members working in the U.S.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines to mitigate organizational risk/exposure.
Collaborate with HR Leaders in the Company's non-U.S. operations to implement common HR programs, as appropriate.
Effectively manage integration of employees, policies and practices of acquired entities.
Experience and Skills
Experience and Education Requirements:
Masters degree in Human Resources Management, and/or Juris Doctorate
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) highly desirable
10+ years of experience as an HR leader, with at least 3 years in a high-growth environment
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
Strategic thinker, who can translate strategy into action
Solid facilitation, networking, collaboration, and team building skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills
Expert knowledge of employment laws and proven ability to minimize risk
In-depth understanding of payroll processes and requirements
Hands-on experience managing employee benefits programs, including 401k, health and welfare benefits, PTO, etc.
Self-starter who proactively identifies and addresses emerging issues
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Tolerance for ambiguity, adaptable, and able to drive change
Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence at high levels in an organization
Strong spreadsheet and financial tracking skills
Proven track record of contract procurement and management
Maturity, judgment and consultative ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels of the organization
