Vox Mobile, with its headquarters in Independence, Ohio, is seeking to add an Human Resource Generalist to its growing team of professionals. Vox has 115 employees and is aggressively continuing its employee growth. The Human Resource Generalist will administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures as well creating (when needed), maintaining and updating of Vox Mobile employee handbooks, policies and procedure manuals. The ideal candidate will also have experience with medical and dental benefits, 401(k) plans, payroll and recruiting and be an advocate for both Vox Mobile and the Employee.
Serve as employee relations manager and liaison between employee and the various outsourced functions (Paycor (payroll), Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield (medical/dental/vision benefits), etc.)
Help the company maintain compliance with all HR requirements both from a personnel file and posting perspective
Oversee and manage the company?s hiring process including posting jobs, interviewing candidates and completing all paperwork
Conduct First Day on-boarding session for all new employees in the US and work with PEO Canada (for Waterloo)
Maintain personnel files and documentation
Lead the company?s employee termination processes and associated conversations and documentation.
Filing of unemployment paperwork to the various jurisdictions
Conduct company-wide annual review process in both the US and Canada
Add/Remove benefits for new/terminated employees in various systems.
Review monthly medical/dental insurance bills to ensure in line with payroll
Assist in getting annual 5500?s for benefits plans filed timely
Lead annual benefit review and renewal
Planning and implementing company-wide recognition programs
Drive the annual employee events (Summer picnic, Holiday party)
Serve as the liaison for the company with regard to the building/landlord
Ordering of supplies and office materials
Essential Skills and Experience
Three to five years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Great working knowledge of employment laws and requirements
Ability to manage others.
Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work including data entry.
Ability to concisely process and report data.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels, and management in particular, across all departments.
Exceeds at managing work and completing work within deadlines.
Experienced with Microsoft Office 2010 products including Outlook, Lync, Word, and Excel.
