Think Through Learning, a high-energy web-based education company, seeks a professional, resourceful, hard-working team player to join us in our main Pittsburgh office as a full-time HR Generalist/Office Administrator. Working with the the Finance and Administration team, this position will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly Human Resource functions of our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the HR Generalist/Office Administrator position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure compliance and efficiency in the new hire approval process
Provide recruitment support to hiring managers
Develop and administer HR process to ensure timely payroll updates for all employees with changes to rate, bonus, benefits elections deductions and other.
Develop and implement companywide performance review process and provide ongoing oversight.
Facilitate the planning, direction and administration of the annual Open Enrollment process for benefits.
Provide administrative and fiduciary oversight to processing 401K Plan transactions.
Maintain all personnel and benefit records
Maintain and update the Company Policy/Procedure handbook in compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations.
Develop and adminster work-place diversity and other training programs.
Assist in the planning, direction and administration of the annual Open Enrollment process for benefits.
Work as liaison between employees and insurance carriers to resolve benefit and coverage issues.
Assist in processing 401K Plan transactions.
Prepare and update Company organization charts.
Assist with updating the Company Policy/Procedure handbook in compliance with State, Local and Federal regulations.
Other General Administrative office support
Qualifications and Characteristics:
Minimum of 5 years? Human Resource experience
Professional experience in handling confidential information
High degree of experience and skill using Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of ADP systems is a plus
