Want to be part of an awesome team? Xactly Corporation, named a 2012 Best Small Company by the Great Place to Work Institute and a 2012 Top Workplace by the Bay Area News Group, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its culture-conscious team. With the excitement of a fast-growing startup and the heart to recognize the need for life-balance, Xactlians work hard and give the full measure of commitment to the job but know it?s important to go home and enjoy life, too.
We need a well-rounded Generalist who?s capable of handling a full range of HR activities ? a team player who can be a heart-and-soul standard bearer for our culture and Core Values. Above all, you must keep laughter and a sense of fun in the forefront while delivering great service and continually improving our effectiveness.
You will be the backbone of People Operations? day-to-day services:
Plan and run employee programs and events, including taking a lead role in our community service activities.
Be the primary contact for and handle employee inquiries, using good judgment to escalate appropriately and following through to assure resolution.
Handle critical employee transactions - hires, changes, departures, etc. ? sensitively, timely and accurately.
Seamlessly partner with other members of the People Operations and leadership team on:
Benefits, compensation, stock and systems projects and coordinate with our vendors to resolve issues.
The full recruiting cycle - post jobs, source, screen and interview candidates ? and immigration;
Employee relations, management consulting and employee training.
Deliver new hire orientation and coordinate on-boarding with hiring managers and other departments.
Create and maintain imaginative and engaging content on a variety of HR web pages.
Graciously handle the less-glamorous necessities of the department such as managing and reconciling data, reports, invoices, etc., working to continually streamline and digitize our processes and reduce manual effort.
Handle every interaction with integrity, diplomacy and professionalism to assure that every candidate, employee and vendor is referenceable.
In addition, to be successful:
You must hit the ground running, juggle multiple projects, and thrive on our fast pace. You must be analytical, intelligent, collaborative, professional and tenacious, a problem solver with excellent customer service and communication skills. You must be well-organized, work well against hard deadlines, and possess an acute attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. You must continually stay on top of changing legal and regulatory requirements that affect HR practices.
You must be proficient using HR systems (Workday, Newton & Easi preferred), standard business applications and creating presentations (Microsoft and Google apps preferred). Proficiency with photo and video apps is helpful.
You must have a Bachelor?s degree (preferably in HR or college/professional certification in HR) with 2-5 years of experience in an HR generalist function (or the equivalent in education, experience and breadth of perspective) with current knowledge of HR. Experience in both large and small HR teams is preferred.
You must have high ethical standards, a keen sense of discretion and be able to handle all manner of confidential and sensitive business and employee information. Above all, you must embody our Core Values of Customer Focus, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
