HR Manager Acquia
As a strategic partner, the HR manager will partner with the Global Director, Human Resources to build key HR business initiatives while working in a rapidly growing fast paced environment. The HR manager will serve as a consultant, employee champion and change agent for our employee population.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
Partner with HR team to build and cultivate a world class HR function
Coach and mentor HR Generalist (1 report)
Provide day-to-day coaching to management and employees
Work with management to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Lead and implement performance review process
Drive continual succession planning, talent assessment and development initiatives across the organization
Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
Manage and resolve employee relation?s issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Develop and execute communication strategies to share information about the business, HR programs and offerings, and other relevant information
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required
Provide HR Policy guidance and interpretation
Identify training needs and individual coaching needs.
Participates in developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems
Provide insight and leadership to promote organizational effectiveness, talent planning and development.
Drive change initiatives and business priorities.
Desired Skills & Experience
BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent experience
7+ years progressive HR experience working in a high growth fast paced environment
Experience managing, mentoring and coaching staff
Solid project management, time management, and analytical skills, along with excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
Proven experience driving change in a high growth environment
Experience in developing and delivering organizational talent assessments and plans
Collaborative skills applied to influencing peers, other leaders and senior management in making business decisions and solving complex problems
Global HR business experience preferred
Exceptional analytical, communication and systems skills
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively
Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
Be self directed and motivated
