Reporting to the VP, HR the HR Manager will manage the day-to-day HR activities and programs of a rapidly growing organization as well as participates in the development and execution of company-wide programs and initiatives.
Manage Gen9?s recruiting process for non-executive positions, interns and temps to ensure timely hiring of quality candidates. Coordinates interview schedules; establishes and manages vendor relationships, ensures background.
Manage Gen9?s new hire on boarding process from offer acceptance through first 60 days and strive to ensure employee understanding of benefit programs. Conduct first day benefits orientation, enrolling employees in benefits and other programs within designated time periods.
Perform benefits administration to include health and welfare enrollments and terminations, responding to and resolving employee questions, reviews monthly billing for accuracy, resolving any discrepancies. Processes required documents for insurance providers and provides information required for payroll to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions. Serve as the COBRA administrator for Gen9. Answers employee questions and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Prepare weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, analyzing data for trends. Distribute quality of hire surveys for completion and ensure timely response to internal metrics surveys.
Participate in annual benefits renewal process. Manages open enrollment period, developing and implementing employee communications; arranges for new materials as needed.
Conduct exit interviews; tracking reasons for termination for trends. Complete salary and benefits surveys. Conducts ad hoc surveys on a range of topics to understand competitive practices. Participates in or conducts other projects.
Established and maintains department and personnel records. As company grows, develops, recommends and implements HR policies and procedures. Maintains, updating as needed, the employee handbook to ensure it remains up-to-date.
A degree in Human Resources or related field is required
3 years experience in benefits administration and at least one other area of Human Resources required. Exposure to other areas of Human Resources preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally across the organization and with external vendors.
Demonstrated ability to research solutions for questions, problems or new programs.
Proficient level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
