The Human Resources Manager will lead all aspects of the HR function and team for this growing technology company headquartered in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. The HR Manager will oversee compensation and beneifts, employee relations, organizational development, recruiting, performance management and compliance. This position will report to the Senior VP of Marketing and will have 3 direct reports. This role requires an individual with a positive, friendly attitude and the ability to partner with leaders at all levels. This position offers an opportunity to execute the HR strategy while managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure a positive work environment and experience for team members in Charleston, San Francisco and Atlanta
Create, update and manage HR policies and procedures including the Team Member Handbook
Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local HR regulations and laws
Oversee the performance management process; including annual reviews and performance coaching
Ensure an enjoyable and effective recruiting and onboarding process for new team members
Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and the team member experience
Perform internal customer service functions by answering team member requests and questions
Maintain records, initiate and process talent management transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers and terminations
Manage all aspects of benefits administration, planning and communications, including enrollments, terminations, billing, claims issues, renewals and reviewing/implementing new benefit plans and programs
Process payroll and address team member issues and questions
A bachelor?s degree and 3-5 years of Human Resource experience including considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration
Familiarity and understanding of employment regulations including affirmative action, FMLA, EEO, ADA and FLSA required
Strong problem solving skills, critical thinking and initiative
Strong written and verbal communications skills, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidential team member information
Ability to influence and partner with leaders and team members at all levels.
PHR is preferred.
