Verdasys Inc. is seeking an HR/Office Coordinator that is looking for a rewarding and challenging career in our fast-paced, ever changing environment with tremendous momentum and potential! The HR/Office Coordinator will be responsible for reception, office management, and administrative functions as well as provide high level support to the Human Resources department and report directly to the Director of HR.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image
Assists with general clerical/administrative duties as needed including but not limited to answering phones, filing, preparing correspondence and memoranda, faxing, copying, and mailing
Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.)
Oversees and recommends improvements to office systems including but not limited to office equipment maintenance and repair, office supply ordering and inventory, and filing systems
Identifies and analyzes administrative needs; develops solutions/recommendations
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Coordinates meetings including but not limited to preparing and distributing agendas and other meeting materials, reserving and preparing facilities, and ordering catering requests
Works with HR Director and CFO on managing overall travel management program via travel agencies and the Concur Travel Management system
Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current
Helps to maintain company organization charts and employee directory
Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork
Assists the HR Director with the preparation of the performance reviews, recruitment and interview process, benefits administration, wellness programs and HRIS maintenance
Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects
Assists Senior Level Executives as needed
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Bachelor?s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources or related field ? or -
One year experience in the HR field
Prior experience with ADP or HRIS database preferred
Experience in a corporate office environment
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Prior experience with Concur is a plus
