HR Recruiter Precision Therapeutics

The Opportunity:

Precision Therapeutics, Inc. (Precision), a life-science company located in Pittsburgh, PA, is committed to improving outcomes of cancer patients. As leaders in the science of individualizing cancer therapy through the use of a proprietary and unique live-tissue platform, Precision develops novel markers to help guide treatment decisions based on the biological processes of each individuals cancer.

Summary:

This position will function as an internal staffing partner and employment consultant throughout the entire hiring cycle process. The focus is on sourcing, recruiting, assessing and interviewing internal and external candidates for employment for the Sales Organization, specifically Sales and Account Manager Openings. You will work with hiring managers and business leaders to develop specific approaches and strategies to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring, in addition to continuously developing a pipeline of specific competencies to meet evolving hiring needs and requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategically source candidates for specified functional area of organization
Coach and counsel hiring managers on the full cycle hiring process
Manage the entire recruitment process (drive the process from inception to completion; communicate with managers at different points in the process to move candidates along)

Effectively pre-screen candidates for employment

Manage scheduling of candidates and their availability
Serve as a consultant to hiring managers when developing offers
Conduct Compensation Analysis re: offers for employment
Manage the Background Check Process
Accurately report on requisitions and status of requisitions
Stay current with employment laws
Perform other tasks and projects as necessary

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Communications, Business Management or Industry Specific

Experience:

4+ years of recruiting experience
Prior experience in health care recruiting is beneficial
