This is an opportunity for a discrete professional to join the Verisk Health RQID Human Resources division. In this spot you will work with various internal clients to fill openings, conduct New Employee Orientation sessions, and work with the local HR team. We expect the successful candidate to form Business Partner relationships with a specific set of internal clients. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent job experience preferred.
One to three years general Human Resources administrative or representative experience required.
Excellent project management and organizational skills required; proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal, written, follow-up and interpersonal communication skills essential with strong grammar and writing skills.
Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to meet deadlines and work within time restraints. Ability to multi-task in a very high volume, dynamic, high exposure position and hand
Provide complete administrative support to staffing function which includes the following:
Candidate sourcing: Post open positions to internal and external websites as directed. Place advertisements in appropriate publications and track responses.
Candidate screening: Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursement, administer and grade applicant tests, and provide post interview follow-up. Complete background and reference checks. Assist recruiters with career fairs and on-campus recruiting efforts.
Coordinate interview schedules, set up interview packets, and prepare all related interview material for interview teams/hiring managers.
Process offer/acceptance or rejection letters, request employee IDs, and prepare new hire documentation.
Responds to routine interoffice and external client correspondence with minimal direction.
Provide high level, confidential administrative support and assistance to Director of Human Resources and Administration / HIPAA Security Officer, including performing diverse and complex duties, handling confidential information and initiating special projects and reports as directed. Proactive approach with ability to identify opportunities to provide support and in obtaining information for various meeting preparation. Handles material of a highly confidential and strategic nature, keeps updated on procedural changes and handles logistics and details of department presentations, meeting coordination, WebEx, etc.
Applicant tracking: Maintain file of approved job requisitions, keep up-to-date forms for all activities related to the sourcing and hiring process, maintain interview logs in the applicant tracking system (ATS), collect and store EEO forms and letters (related to Affirmative Action), close out openings in ATS and run monthly reports for management.
Prepare supervisor's checklist and other HR forms and maintain file of client evaluations. Ensure HRD's Compensation Unit is notified of new hire start date and related information.
Coordinate and manage day one orientation sessions. Work with HR presenters to coordinate and deliver ongoing sessions.
Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
