JOB POSITION: HR Specialist
JOB LOCATION: St. Paul, MN
JOB SUMMARY: The HR Specialist will be located in Infor's St. Paul, MN office. This position provides centralized HR operational support to the US HR Team. Responsibilities include generating offer letters, facilitating new hire onboarding processes and employee exits, administering HR programs and supporting HR initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic interest in being involved with and exposed to many facets of Human Resources; must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Generate offer letters, send offer letters and new hire materials to job candidates
· Complete onboarding processes for new hires including collecting new hire paperwork and ensuring its completeness and accuracy
· Provide exit information to terminating employees and conduct exit interviews
· Manage company I-9 compliance via our I-9 management system
· Review background check results and escalate issues as needed
· Administer HR Programs such as the Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Referral Programs, maintain current records regarding participation details
· Run and maintain reports in Excel as needed
· Respond to employee inquiries or redirect inquiries if necessary
· Act as a local contact for managers and employees to ensure ease of access for HR policy and program information
· Maintain HR electronic files, update policy and procedure documents as needed
· Maintain employee files
· Provide support for HR initiatives and projects as needed
· Provide support to HR Advisors, Managers and Directors as needed
· Offer suggestions for process improvements or enhancements
· Other responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the field
· 3-5 years business experience, HR experience is preferred
· Knowledge of employment laws, regulations and standards
Required Skills:
· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills are a plus
· Attention to detail and effective time management skills
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude and openness to coaching
· Self-directed in managing responsibilities and completing tasks
· Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, competing demands and unexpected events
· Work well with all employee levels across the organization
· Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time
· Maintain the utmost confidentiality and conduct business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
