MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with division managers to identify hiring needs
Develops and revises appropriate recruitment documents ( job analyses, crediting plans, assessment questionnaires, vacancy announcements and SF-39's)
Develops, reviews, and posts position utilizing USAStaffing
Develops referral of certificates of eligible candidates
Rates and rank application and develops referral list
Provide assistance to selecting officials during the hiring process
Audits case files
Prepares vacancy announcements for excepted service positions for internal positions to departments website
Evaluates and refers candidates for excepted service positions
Administers veterans preference in connection with both competitive service and excepted service hiring through special authorities
Assists in implanting program for hiring of interns and graduates
Enters data in internal database associated with recruitment and staffing activities including applicants data and selectees
Creates, audits, and closes out case files associated with recruitment activities
Serves as technical expert in the areas of staffing and classification
Serves as a resource to the HR Assistant as they process personnel actions
Answers questions and assists in the identification of nature of actions codes and legal authorities (may assist in preparing SF52s)
Bachelor's Degree+3 years' experience, or 6 years' experience without bachelors
Must have practical experience using USAStaffing(Monster)
Must be able to work onsite. Relocation costs are not covered.
Must be familiar with rules and regulations governing examining under merit promotion and delegated examining
Must be a U.S. Citizen
