MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides the full range of staffing and recruitment support to Agency staff including, but not limited to the following:
Conducting job analysis, developing crediting plans and ranking questions for USA Jobs and Monster.
Identifying selective placement factors, developing and posting vacancy announcements (from scratch or using templates).
Reviewing applicant qualifications; rating and ranking all applicants; conducting rating panel, creating selection certificates.
Applying Veterans' preference and responding to applicant inquiries.
Closing out case files in similar fashion to DEU requirements.
Providing staffing related reports
Knowledge of Federal staffing and placement, programs, regulations, and guidelines.
Skill in operating automated staffing systems (USA Jobs and Monster).
Demonstrated ability in analyzing data from a variety of sources and making sound determinations related but not limited to basic eligibility and the comparative quality of experience of individuals and candidate pools.
Skill in communicating both verbally and in writing with applicants, managers/supervisors, and employees.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with union contracts and representatives.
Demonstrated knowledge of excepted service hiring programs.
Experience using PeopleSoft applications.
Understanding of NFC data elements used for hiring and placement.
Experience with Attorney recruitment.
