This position can be a virtual / work-from-home opportunity, or may be based out of one of the SilkRoad offices. Some travel (up to 10%) may be required.
Working as a member of the Client Services team, the qualified candidate will lead software implementation/configuration projects with our clients. The primary responsibility will be leading the implementation efforts for SilkRoad's core HR solution, HeartBeat. Some specific responsibilities include:
Project management of multiple complex software implementation projects with the expectation of meeting and exceeding company-defined standards.
Leading a client project team of 2 - 15 internal and external members through successful software implementation projects with measurable results.
Providing best practice consulting on business processes as they relate to configurations within SilkRoad?s software.
Configuration of new and existing client software accounts.
Liaising with new and existing customers to ensure the successful implementation of new account features.
Assisting support units in resolving technical issues and providing general user support.
Authoring, editing and producing product-related technical documentation.
Performing software quality assurance activities.
Maintaining a high level of integrity, courtesy, and respect which is representative of SilkRoad?s high standards for customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and business contacts.

Interact with clients and assist them in implementing and maintaining hosted web-based applications. Able to interact patiently, courteously and professionally with customers while guiding and steering them through challenging technical implementations.
Demonstrated proven skills in project management and leadership, requirements gathering and documentation.
Ability to work with customers to extract and translate functional requirements into software configuration with minimal guidance.
Ability to plan and lead multiple complex software implementation projects concurrently, using project management software to effectively track and report progress.
Ability to help customers set reasonable requirements, phases and project plans for aggressive implementations
Ability to actively participate in system development activities including testing (verification/validation), implementation, and quality assurance.
Demonstrate logical and mechanical reasoning in a customer-centric environment
Demonstrated ability to work alone with general guidance from team leader and deliver assignments on time.
Demonstrate consistently effective verbal and written communications skills.
Experience in the administration of Payroll, Benefits, or HRIS/HRMS and/or implementing such software.
The ideal candidate will be an extremely competent project manager with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
A firm understanding of relational databases and their interactions with web-based software.
Experience as a Human Resources practitioner.
Experience with one or more of the following technologies; Web Services, IIS, Java/JSP, ASP/VBScript, ASP.net, MS SQL, XML/XSLT, , XHTML
Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, especially form creation.
Experience with globalization, localization and internationalization of web applications preferred.
PHR / SPHR certification a plus.
