HRIS/Payroll Specialist Coyote Logistics
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionThe Payroll Specialist will report directly to the Senior HR Manager/Payroll Manager and will help with payroll preparations for 1,000+ US based employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Payroll preparation and auditing
Run reports, create deduction files and audit payroll registers
Input payroll data in an accurate and timely manner
Use MS Excel to help reconcile payroll and commissions
Track time entry auditing for missing punches, time off requests and data discrepancies.
Communicate with employees as necessary to gather missing information.
Conduct weekly data audits and correct errors accordingly
Notify management of payroll discrepancies and miscalculations
Help create payroll efficiencies by reviewing workflows and implementing best processes
Support Payroll Manager by taking on special projects as requested
Ensure compliance with internal pay policies and practices
Assist employees by answering payroll questions and facilitating timely resolutions to discrepancies
File documents in electronic employee folders
Build reports to support the needs of the business
Reconcile monthly hires, terms and transfers against headcount
Prepare and run weekly reports (Concur, Payrun, etc.)
Fulfill ad hoc report requests

Ability to efficiently organize workload and adapt quickly to change

Strong attention to detail and confident decision making skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong analytical and creative skills
Excellent communication at all levels
Minimum of 2-4 years in payroll administration
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic HRIS reporting knowledge
