JOB SUMMARY: The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for all Human Resource-related information technology services, development of management information reports and workforce metrics, implementation of new software systems, managing the integration of all systems used in HR, and overseeing system upgrades and maintenance. This individual will serve as the internal expert for the HRIS system, especially its reporting capabilities, and will be the key interface with the vendor. He/she will apply their in-depth knowledge of HRIS to drive process improvements and efficiencies across the HR organization. He/she will perform activities necessary to maintain related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for senior management. This position requires self-direction and minimal degree of supervision.
Education/License/Certification: Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources or Computer Sciences preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in relevant HRIS
Previous experience with Ultipro and Cognos Business Intelligence report writing is required.
Previous experience with multi-site, multi-state, multi-functional organizations preferred.
