About this Role:
As an intern on the Huffington Post Sales team, you?ll support our sales team as they drive revenue across HuffingtonPost.com, HuffPost Live, mobile apps, international sites, Huffington Magazine, and more. This isn?t your typical internship. You won?t spend your days at the copy machine, fetching coffee or paying your dues at a stiff corporate firm. You?ll be in a fun, frenetic place working with people who are genuinely obsessed with what they do. You?re going to make your peers envy how much you?ll learn and you?ll see your work have a substantive impact on the business. Some of the things you?ll be up to include:
?Updating Pitch Tool and Collateral utilizing ComScore and @Plan
?QA of all Pitch Tool Collateral as posted
?Build a library of Category Specific Information and Case Studies for Native Ad Products, Front Page Creative Executions, Branded Experiences
?Enhance/Create Key Metrics dashboard for sales
?Help create Media Plans/MPS ideas and concepts
?Ad Hoc projects assisting the sales team
Who we?re looking for:
We?re looking for someone with some serious media savvy ? and is interested in being at the intersection of media and tech. You?ll love this job if you?re interested in a career in sales, and are ready to jump right in. We?re looking for someone who is/has:
?A High performing current undergraduate student or have graduated in Spring 2013
?Previous internship experience within the consumer internet and media space, sales or account management experience preferred
?A passion for process improvement and making things work better
?Creative -lan, excellent attention to detail
?Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
