Position Summary:
The office assistant provides support to Human Resources Director, and to a lesser extent, Accounting/Finance, President and General Counsel. Utilizing well-honed MS Office skills, the assistant writes / edits short articles, updates the HR pages on the company intranet; provides support as needed to the CFO and CEO utilizing intermediate MS Excel skills; and provides support, as needed to the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain HR files, including employee folders, benefit and I-9 verification.
Manage HR databases utilizing MS Excel.
Develop / edit / generate quarterly articles for company awards newsletter.
Assist CFO and CEO as needed.
Assist General Counsel as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
BA / BS degree.
Exposure to accounting procedures.
Exposure to HR operations.
Experience and facility with writing / editing.
Demonstrably significant experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
Personal Characteristics:
Excellent written/ verbal communication/cross functional skills.
High level of integrity.

Able to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
