Work closely with the San Francisco and Foster City leadership teams to champion and foster a true performance driven culture. This position will be a strategic partner to the leadership of our Merchant Services (Deem Network) team in San Francisco and will help drive talent acquisition and management, employee effectiveness, and change management for that office.
- Work closely with HR Team, management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs; follow-up to ensure training objectives are met
- Partner with other HRBPs on major projects; prepare and assist with HR presentations
- Assess, evaluate and implement HR processes, procedures and guidelines
- Organize and approve employee leaves of absence
- Support onboarding needs for new hires and participate in orientation
- Manage independent contractor processes and vendors
- Support management of AB1825 training and compliance
- Process Employment Verification Requests
- Support immigration law compliance for foreign national population in SF location
- Specialized skill set around SOX compliance and audit practices strongly preferred
- Assesses, audits, investigates, and is overall responsible for information concerning the status of human resource compliance issues with specific federal, state, and local employment laws and policies
- Manage Handbook and Company Values documentation, records management, EEO/AA compliance programs, and Worker's Compensation issues and benefits
- 5-10 years of experience in a technology/high-tech organization
- BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or related; S/PHR preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
- Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership skills
- Exceptional consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
