Human Resources Business Partner, Sr Integra Telecom
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionThe HR Business Partner works closely with management and the general employee base to provide strategic guidance in the areas of employee development, program implementation, organizational design, ensuring legal compliance in alignment with company goals and objectives, and to increase organizational effectiveness of our human resources.
?Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding human resources policies, procedures and administration. Provide consulting services on the interpretation and application of federal, state and local regulations and on Company policies, procedures and programs.
?Reviews recommended personnel actions to ensure compliance with company guidelines and applicable federal and/or state rules and regulations; recommends courses of action; maintains pertinent statistics and prepares reports.
?Coordinates salary administration within assigned work area. Coordinates salary adjustment programs within established company guidelines.
?Researches, analyzes and conducts internal investigations related to employee complaints of unlawful discrimination or other issues of a serious nature. Drafts responses and recommends appropriate action for review by the Human Resources management.
?Sponsor and facilitate employee recognition activities for assigned work area(s).
?Partner with management in the planning and development of human resources management strategies, workforce planning and financial resource management.
?Recommend solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
?Educate management on company philosophies and human resources practices to ensure overall efficiency and consistency.
?Serve as the liaison between business unit and Human Resources to communicate the needs and unique challenges of the work group. Recommend and recognize solutions to mitigate issues and resolve through well-integrated support.
?Act as an employee and management advisor/counselor/mediator in the areas of career planning, performance planning, internal placement and interpersonal issues. Use skill in the art of negotiation, conflict resolution, and a creative approach to problem definition, resolution and follow-up.
?Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
?Requires a minimum of 5 years practical Human Resources experience and/or equivalent in training and education.
?Applied experience in all Human Resources Generalist competencies, including compensation, EEO, employee relations, employee training & development and recruitment and staffing.
?High level of understanding and applied experience in laws and regulations governing employment, employee relations and compensation.
?Excellent interpersonal communications skills and
?Demonstrated experience in the participation of strategic planning.
?Ability to maintain and safeguard confidential and proprietary company and employee information.
?Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and word processing software such as MS Excel and Word is required.
?Experience in the telecommunications industry or other highly technical environment.
? Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. SPHR a plus!
