Reports to: Director, Human Resources
Provides advice and counsel to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding
Human Resources policies and procedures and employee benefits. Listens to employee
problems and provides feedback to functional managers to ensure corrective action is
taken. Provides feedback on employee morale to Human Resources leadership,
indicating suggested corrective action to resolve any problem areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Provides support in HR functional areas, including recruitment and employment,
personnel records, employee and labor relations, job evaluation, compensation
management, benefits administration, organization development, training,
AA/EEO and special projects.
? Payroll Administrator - responsible for compiling and posting employee time and
? Motivates and stimulates supervisors and managers to ensure consistent, equal,
and fair treatment of their employees.
? Cultivates favorable and effective employee relations. Acts as mediator,
counselor, and facilitator in arbitrating disputes between employees and their
supervisors and managers.
? Assists in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
? Prepares reports and assists in the preparation of employee booklets and other
? Maintains training log, identifies plans, and tracks hours for all employees
? Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five to eight
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
? Knowledge of Employment Laws
? Ability to select qualified employees
? Compensation knowledge
? Able to perform orientation and training
? Familiarity with employee performance process
? Ability to perceive an issue and provide solutions
? Good verbal and written English communication skills
? 5 years experience in a Human Resources role
