The HR Coordinator will support the daily Human Resources operation by providing responsive service to Cvent employees. This person will also support ongoing HR activities associated with a fast paced, high growth environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their HR career from the ground up in a growing organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists employees with requests and questions related to benefits, payroll and policy interpretation.
Coordinates with new hire onboarding and orientations.
Keeps HR records current and compliant.
Conducts data entry and audits various payroll, benefits or other HR data.
Assists HR department in carrying out various programs, projects, research and procedures.
Assists with payroll administration as needed.
Compiles basic reports as needed.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Some relevant experience with desire to start a long term career in the HR field.
Prior knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
Strong attention to detail and quality, and have the ability to multi-task efficiently.
Organized with strong prioritization and planning skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Quick learner, with a positive attitude and ability to work well independently and within a team.
