Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, as an HR Generalist, you will work alongside another Generalist to handle the HR needs of our 340 person, fast growing organization. This is a perfect opportunity for someone that has a passion for benefits and human resources and enjoys both working autonomously and as part of a team. You will work with the HR team to innovate HR programs and services that will enhance our WideOrbit employment experience and environment.
Here are some things you will be doing:
Process employee benefit and change documentation including paperwork for: new hires, leaves of absences, transfers, promotions, life events, terminations and other employee changes as required.
Manage employee benefits programs and employee communications of benefits by reviewing and assessing benefit needs and trends to enhance plans. Process benefit claims; obtain and evaluate benefit contract bids; and conduct educational programs on benefit programs.
Communicate with insurance carriers and other program vendors.
Aid in the administration of the company 401(k) plan.
Consult with and advise employees on eligibility for all benefits programs and claim procedures if necessary.?
Research and recommend new HR policies as needed.
Coordinate with Recruitment pre-employment needs such as background checks.
On-board new employees on their first day to review new hire paperwork; and familiarize them with WO Policies and Procedures to aid in a seamless transition into their new role.
Work with HR Team to establish Wellness Programs throughout the company
Work with current HR and Learning & Development Teams to enhance and expand the New Hire Orientation and On-boarding process.
Help administrate WO Ambassador program for new hires
Assist in managing the annual benefit Open Enrollment process.
Helps maintain the Human Resources Information System and generates reports from the database.
Facilitate employee relations matters and exit interviews.
Other duties as required and assigned.
Here?s what we?re looking for:
5+ years of Human Resources experience
Extensive knowledge of Employment law
PHR Certification is a plus
Bachelor?s degree is required
Experience implementing HRIS and related management information systems.
Demonstrated focus on employee relations and well being
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with HRIS systems
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple projects, make timely and sound decisions, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records a must
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.?
