Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter ON24

ON24 is seeking a resourceful, organized and conscientious individual with recruiting and HR generalist experience. This position supports the functional aspects of the HR department including recruitment and employment, records maintenance, and benefits administration.
RESPONSIBILITES
Generalist:
- New hire orientations, benefit enrollment, employee relations
- Administration of employee benefits plans including: health, 401(k), stock option plan
- Data entry and file maintenance of the payroll and benefits systems
- Employment verifications and references checks
- Response to government agencies: unemployment, disability, audits, garnishments
- Recruitment:
- Develop a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
- Manage applicant tracking database
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
- Conduct follow-up with hiring managers and applicants to determine the effectiveness of our recruiting plans and ensure positive candidate experience
- Strategic planning - develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Seek new recruiting partners and manage those relationships
- Interview training
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years HR generalist experience
- 7+ years recruiting experience preferably in a high tech environment
- Knowledge and understanding of current employment laws
- Ability to draw on a solid recruiting network of candidates and business partners
- Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints in a timely manner with tact, diplomacy and the strictest confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Professional but approachable manner; maturity and reliability
- Must be well-organized and self-directed; able to perform duties with minimal direction and independently plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
- Must work well under pressure and maintain a sense of humor
- Must be customer service orientated
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Working nowledge of ADP PayExpert and eProsper (or other equity software)
- Must be attentive to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
