Human Resources Generalist Cleanscapes
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED CleanScapes, a Recology company in Seattle is currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist.
The Human Resoruces Generalist's essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Works with manager in addressing issues related to employee performance and conduct. Assists with and provides support for internal investigations. May represent Company at hearings.
Actively engages in coaching and counseling with managers and employees, as needed.
Facilitates training for employees and supervisors as directed.
Answers routine personnel inquiries on policy, practice and procedure. Maintains effective working relationships and maintains confidentiality at all levels internally and outside the organization.
Works closely and proactively with Group Human Resources Manager to develop human resources strategies and programs that address the organization?s needs.
Administers leave programs, including all notification requirements, tracking, etc.
Understands and ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.
Works within tight deadlines and utilizes problem-solving skills.
Partners with hiring managers/supervisors to identify and understand personnel needs and manages recruitment process. Assesses potential candidates for fit within the position identified including skills, education and experience. Participates in interviews and makes recommendation for selection of potential employees.
Manages the Company?s Affirmative Action Plan. Monitors the Company?s progress and assists managers in understanding obligations and goals. Ensures adequate records are maintained. Works with Group Human Resources Manager in response to compliance audits.
Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees to create a qualified passive candidate pool.
Performs new hire orientations and conducts exit interviews.
Maintains and/or creates records and documents for personnel transactions such as hires and terminations.
Maintains personnel and other HR files ensuring compliance with regulation and Company policy.
Inputs and maintains a variety of HRIS data. Ensure appropriate audit trails exist for all input.
Prepares special reports and performs analyses, as directed.

Qualified candidates will have:
Requires 3+ years related experience. 2+ years specific experience in management of recruiting programs.
Detailed knowledge of human resources theory and practice required, including highly technical knowledge of company procedures and policies.
Strong analytical skills required.
Knowledge of HRIS system.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English well including excellent grammar and spelling.
Strong attention to detail required.
Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
