THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are looking for someone to join our Human Resources Team as a Human Resources Generalist in our South San Francisco office. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
The Human Resource Generalist must function well in a growing ? fast paced environment while multi-tasking & managing multiple projects, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include: administration of HR policies and procedures, communication of relevant information to employees and managers, talent management, employee relations.
Key result areas include but are not limited to:
Administration ? HR Legal Compliance
Administers various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Support development and implementation of compensation program; monitors performance evaluation/development programs.
Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Participate in the design, development and implementation of the company Employee Orientation and New Hire Programs, including individual and manager training of company policies and procedures.
Administers all employee benefits and communicates the company?s benefits program in regard to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements.
Prepare various reports related to headcount, turnover, recruiting and provide analysis and insight related to trends. Maintain the company org-chart and prepare ad-hoc reports as requested.
Provide administrative support to our recruiting efforts: Work with managers to complete requisitions, approvals for offers, background checks, prepares offer letters.
Assist managers on incoming requests for support. Provide guidance on employee relations, organizational change, staffing, policies and procedures.

Work Standards: Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
Work experience and education:
Bachelors Degree with emphasis in HR, Business, Psychology or related fields.
Thorough knowledge of human resources practices and procedures as well as considerable knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to human resources matters.
Strong knowledge and understanding of employee benefits, FMLA, CFRA etc.
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Five to seven years related experience
Proficient in MS Office suite and a general knowledge of HR database applications.
This role includes extensive day-to-day administrative duties to ensure accurate processing of all HR transactions. Candidates must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail. Must have a strong commitment to delivery of excellent customer service and high quality/accurate work product.
