Responsibilities include:
Develop interviewing protocols to assess technical and professional competencies aligned with the changing business needs
Develop job descriptions to reflect the business objectives; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities for tracking purposes
Support Argus?s strategy by ensuring consistent application of human resources policies and procedures throughout the company
Recommend and establish current HR programs based on changing legal requirements
Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs; Oversee annual review of employee benefit plans and make appropriate recommendations to improve plan offerings while maintaining costs
Provide guidance and direction to managers and employees concerning employee relations issues
Drive our training agenda; liaise with managers to assess ongoing training needs, both technical and professional skills
Conduct ongoing needs assessments to evaluate the technical and professional skills needed as the business requirements evolve
Monitor Department training requirements and employees? development plans
Measure ROI of training programs through ongoing discussions with employees and managers
Hire best-in-class external resources if necessary to augment internal training resources
Design, facilitate, and manage all training programs as well as roll up their sleeves to help deliver specific components
Qualifications include:
BA degree or equivalent and 7+ years of a Human Resources Generalist role with broad knowledge of employment law, recruiting, training and development, compensation and employee relations
Financial services industry experience, preferably within the payment industry or retail banking
Strong recruiting and sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing active and passive candidates
Experience with course design; strong facilitation skills
Strong knowledge of employee relations and immigration laws
Proficiency in of a wide variety of employee benefit plans
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communications
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
Highly proficient in MS Office skills utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
