OVERVIEW ?
XCOR is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, that has a demonstrated career progression path from HR professional leading to an HR leadership role in a Texas-based small to medium sized company(ies). Qualified candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, sensitivity to confidential personnel information, and an in-depth knowledge of how to find the best team members to hire in a tight job market. Experience with California and/or Florida HR rules and laws a plus, especially California. Experience in start up and transitional / growth oriented companies, and a demonstrated ability to work independently, while establishing new HR and Benefit service providers and programs will be critical.
QUALIFICATIONS ?
? Bachelors degree
? Five (5) to ten (10) years relevant experience and excellent references
? Demonstrated experience implementing new benefits programs, including identifying needs, seeking qualified service providers, evaluating proposals, and implementing the programs, including employee training on the programs.
-- Demonstrated experience identifying, screening and hiring in high quality employees in a technical environment.
-- Must be able to travel extensively in the first year of the job.
REQUIREMENTS ?
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be a U.S. citizen or hold Resident Alien status (aka Green Card).
Must be proficient in spoken and written standard American English.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds mass.
Must be able to climb a 15? ladder.
References required and a background check will be performed.
MISCELLANEOUS ?
Employee will have ?on the job training? in Mojave, CA through mid-2013, after which the position will relocate to the new R & D Headquarters in Midland, TX. The specific date of the Midland move is to be determined.
