The Human Resources Specialist (HRS) performs a variety of HR functions with a focus on onboarding, development and performance management processes. The HRS acts as an ambassador for BrandMuscle, providing a conduit for employee communication and seeking to continuously improve employee engagement and development to promote BrandMuscle as a preferred employer.
Under general supervision, the HRS's responsibilities include:
Maintaining, training on and continuously improving BrandMuscle's HR systems (LMS, EPM, Succession)
Helping the executive management team set direction for talent management initiatives and find solutions to address business opportunities and challenges.
Managing the new employee orientation program by implementing and maintaining onboarding activities and programs
Assisting in the development of action plans to ensure successful execution of HR initiatives.
Mentoring and developing managers on employee development and performance management practices and procedures.
Researching, planning, and implementing learning and development programs.
Managing the summer intern program to provide a mutually beneficially experience for both interns and the company

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Strong knowledge of Federal and State employment law
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to routinely handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to handle multiple and varied tasks
Exceptional organization skills
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and exercise good judgment
Advanced MS Office Suite skills
Two to four years of previous HR experience and PHR certification are strongly preferred.
