Human Resources Specialist AppFolio
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The HR Specialist is responsible for recruitment including the sourcing and screening of candidates for Sales, Customer Success, Implementation and other non-engineering positions. This entry-level role is a good fit for a person who enjoys operational work and who does not mind taking on day-to-day tasks for benefits administration and HR record keeping.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for customer satisfaction, a affinity for details, possess a record of independent action and excellent judgment and value building extraordinary relationships with employees, university partners & candidates.
Manage full cycle recruiting process for operations and support roles ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Help develop, implement, and execute hiring strategy for positions.
Screen resumes and interview qualified candidates.
Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers.
Maintain candidate status via Applicant Tracking System, data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis.
Maintain communication with candidates in order to create promoters of the AppFolio employment brand.
Establish and manage university relationships for top talent hiring.
Provide professional support across all aspects of HR as directed.
Help implement and administer benefit programs, HR system updates and maintain record keeping compliance.
Ensure new starter & leaver administration is carried out in a way that creates business promoters.
Coordinate new starter on-boarding business overview sessions to support new starter success.
Other duties as requested.
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and the ability to develop trusted relationships and find creative solutions.
Resilient persona with comfort and flexibility to work successfully in a hyper-growth organization.
Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
College and sales recruiting experience desired.
Proficiency with standard office software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
BA, BS or BA degree.
Human Resources degree desired.
