IT Operations Project ManagerMindspark is looking for an IT Project Manager. As project manager you will show the ability to work independently with limited direction, communicate effectively with team members in disparate geographic locations, and provide leadership and direction. You will manage multiple projects and priorities as well as act as a project coordinator for all IT related projects. You will also participate with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and other efforts that impact operations. As a single point of contact between operations and IT management teams, you will negotiate, resolve problems, and develop relationships at all levels of the organization as well as with outside vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage IT project plans from beginning to end
Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment
Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation
Create strategies for compliance, risk mitigation and contingency planning
Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones
Directs, oversees and coordinates all IT related projects
Efficiently identifies and solves project issues
Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk
Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services
Designs and maintain technical and project documentation
Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
Meet with and receive feedback from project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred
Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in project management or IT Management
Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
Strong oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to influence others internally and externally
Possess a basic understanding of core internet/networking concepts
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
Demonstrate experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels
Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
