IA Specialist (Contingent) SecureInfo
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This position is contingent upon award of a defense contract with the Navy.
Provides technical analysis for IA support and integration efforts.
Performs analysis of C&A documentation for DOD or Navy RDT&E or operational systems, networks and applications, and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) INFOSEC product evaluation and related documentation.
Creates and updates policies, procedures, standards and guidelines for use throughout the USAP related to information security processes.
Performs maintenance of compliance documentation, including system security plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans to federal standards, on USAP designated general support systems, business systems, and operations systems.
Audits security controls to determine adequacy and effectiveness.
Recommends mitigations to resolve security control problems in a timely manner.
Support the security awareness program, including course development, tracking and reporting of compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
Five (5) years experience industry experience.
Four (4) years, of related IA and INFOSEC technical experience to include C&A analysis support in IA controls analysis, conducting risk assessments, risk mitigation analysis, developing contingency plansKnowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks, especially NIST Special Publications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

US Navy . US Navy IA experience ? NMCI familiarity is desireable.
Some college preferred.
