Looking for a way to get your foot in the door for an Aviation career? Avidyne is hiring an IFD540 Sales Representative. The ISR serves as the face to Avidyne?s customers through direct calling efforts.
The highly Specific responsibilities of the IFD540 Sales Representative includes:
Sales
Sales Calls: Contact IFD540 prospects to create pipeline of potential customers.
Sales Leads: Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities. Identifies hot leads and closes as required or forwards them to appropriate Sales Manager.
Sales: Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to customers the advantages of Avidyne?s IFD540 Autopilot Flight Computer.
Relationships: Creates productive relationships with distributors and end customers.
Tracking: Must properly track all sales and contacts made.
Reporting: Must provide accurate and timely sales information to managers.
Travel: 35% To Regional and National Aviation Trade Shows (EAA Oshkosh and Sun N Fun)
Education/Qualification Required:
Preferred - 4 year degree ? In an Aviation related field or business
General knowledge of Aviation
Experience:
2+ years of experience in direct end customer sales (preferred)
2+ years of experience in Aviation (preferred)
Skills and Core Competencies:
Must be customer oriented and build strong relationships with customers
Must contain solid follow up and organization
Must be very comfortable in front of clients, closing key opportunities, as well as handling complex service delivery issues.
Must be comfortable using and updating CRM real-time
Must have experience with Microsoft suite (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Pilot?s License (a plus)
