VISANOW (www.visanow.com) seeks a talented, ambitious, and service-oriented Immigration Attorney to help coordinate, prepare and maintain the filing of immigration cases for our clients who include multi-national corporations and individuals. This unique career opportunity will allow you to work in a fast-paced technology environment with high profile clients such as Dow Jones & Company, American Airlines and the Chicago Blackhawks. First year Attorney starts at $45k.
Juris Doctor Degree
Passed a bar exam
Passion for immigration law and a desire to practice in the area of Employment Based non-immigrant and immigrant petitions
Desire to work with proprietary technology applications and computer software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English grammar must be excellent
Highly organized and detail oriented; must be able to work in multi-tasking fashion
Prior experience working in a professional services environment
1-2 years experience preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of immigrant and non-immigrant visa cases for major corporations and individuals on VISANOW?s patented, online platform which includes duties to:
Review and proofread complex evidence and documents for client cases
Track, monitor and log all evidence and documents for client cases
Create, compile and prepare all documentation for case filings
Finalize and review all government-ready case filings
Draft and edit client Letters of Support for the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Department of Labor (DOL)
Proactively research new legislation and legal changes in immigration law
Prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines for client cases
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary
