The Implementation Consultant will manage multiple projects and consult with Emptoris customers to successfully execute Contracts, Spend Analysis and Sourcing Portfolio projects. The Implementation Consultant will perform design and configuration of the Emptoris system, document each step of the implementation process, and will become proficient in defining and implementing custom business processes, workflows, templates, and data extracts.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
Minimum 4 years technical consulting experience.
Project management experience (1 year minimum).
Strong skills in relational data base technology. Must be able to work with IT teams to aid in the extraction of enterprise spend data.
Minimum 2 years business process analysis and reengineering experience.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong client management skills.
Big 5 or equivalent consulting experience.
Supply Chain, CRM, ERP implementation experience preferred.
Experience in consulting on software implementations involving integrations and customizations at large Fortune 500 companies.
Excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and follow through skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently
Experience in leading and facilitating joint applications design/development sessions to define requirements
Experience in documenting business processes, use cases and software requirements
Experience in conducting a gap analysis between as is and to be process flows and mapping the business processes into application solutions
Familiarity with Unix/NT, WebServices, and Middleware (webMethods, Tibco, MQSeries) technologies a plus.
Must be willing to travel up to 80 of time
Consulting Services - Consultant
Location: Burlington, MA
Emptoris consultants provide supply management consulting, tactical strategies, data analysis and coaching to supply management organizations that use Emptoris software.
Responsibilities:
As a consultant, you will work directly with client teams and consulting team members and will be responsible for:
Collecting project requirements
Managing client projects
Developing sourcing strategies and processes
Cleansing and manipulating data
Configuring Emptoris software based on project requirements
Training customers on Emptoris software and sourcing techniques
Developing and presenting reports
Coaching sourcing teams through trade off analysis
Automating manual processes
Creating templates, how-to documents and other content
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
5 years of professional experience
Technical undergraduate degree (CS, EE, ME, etc.) or equivalent
MBA preferred
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Engagement Manager
Location: Nationwide Near Major Airport
The Engagement Manager will be responsible for a group of Emptoris customers to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the Emptoris Contract Management, Spend Analysis and Sourcing Portfolio Platform and ongoing client relationship management. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects and provide guidance to staff.
The Engagement Manager will perform basic design and configuration of the Emptoris system along with documenting each step of the implementation process. The individual will become proficient in defining and implementing custom business processes, workflows, and contract templates.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
BS Computer Science or equivalent degree. MBA preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years software package implementation consulting experience.
Extensive project management experience (4 years minimum).
Minimum 3 years business process analysis and reengineering experience.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow through skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Consistent track record of meeting project budget and delivering milestones on time.
Ability to travel 90 of the time. Must be located near a major airport.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.
Able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative and team oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact and communication, both internally and with the Client for all post sale implementation activities and client readiness.
Knowledgeable about all financial details impacting the engagement including:
o Details of SOWs
o Time and Expense Reporting for all staff and for any partners assigned to the engagement.
Partner with Sales to define Account Services Strategy to embed Emptoris into the clients infrastructure, drive to successful adoption, and coordinate post implementation relationship.
Owns the Engagement Project Plan.
Coordinates with Client Program Work plan.

Gathering, Validating, Requirements Sign-off, and Deliverables.
Maintain Quality Client Relationships & Trusted business advisor.
Administration of Best Practices.
