Motivated high potential candidates with the right technical, project management and client experience looking to build high performance consulting skills with Vertafore.
Implementation Consultant position responsibilities include:
?Serve as the WorkSmart Consultant through all stages of the new product implementation.
?Provide project communication to the Project Lead and guidance in person, on WebEx?s and by status reports to the client during the implementation process.
?Review the signed Statement of Work (SOW) and create the WorkSmart implementation plan based on that information
?Participate in, or conduct kickoff meetings to create the implementation schedule and effort needed to successfully implement the WorkSmart product suite with the client within the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).
?Conduct workflow workshops with the client to design the adaptation of the WorkSmart software to the client specifications.
?Create workflow process automation utilizing vbScript.
?Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to get signoff from the client that the system setup as designed meets customer expectations.
?Perform occasional training and go-live assistance.
?Work on additional service requests from existing clients.
?Maintain detailed knowledge of insurance industry dynamics and departmental procedures.
?Demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to follow up with clients after the Go Live.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
2 years as a technical project manager, technical consultant, or enterprise solution administrator with customer facing or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the insurance industry: Agency, Carrier, MGA,, Broker, or Reinsurance. Familiarity with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Benefits department operations, and the policy issuance and claims process.
Strong consulting/professional services experience with enterprise software company in the insurance industry, or software/computer consulting experience in the insurance industry
Business process, analysis, and workflow experience with insurance agencies and carriers
Excellent, demonstrable customer-facing experience working with clients; collaboration skills working with internal sales, project managers, software developers, trainers, etc.
Expertise in multiple technologies including vbscript, .net, Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA Suite/Service Bus, SQL queries, MS Sharepoint and other front end and back end technologies
Prior experience with ImageRight, WorkSmart or AIM management system would be a plus.
Demonstrated competence with current enterprise class server operating systems, storage options, moderate networking skills, Windows Active Directory (AD) security, database server management, remote VPN access, and backup methodologies
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), systems integration, data conversion & migration.
Moderate vbScripting ability.
Moderate SQL querying ability.
Ability to install application programs on Server and End User PCs. Ability to troubleshoot faulty installs.
Consulting experience managing project schedule, budget, and scope
Bachelor degree or equivalent.
East coast residence.
Competence with current Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals
Ability to multi-task, work independently and work in a team environment with moderate supervision
Understanding of project management activities
Knowledge of troubleshooting and support techniques
Appropriate judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
Frequent interaction with supervisors and functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules
Some knowledge of programming or scripting
Understanding of general business issues including external factors that impact the business and industry
Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence
Strong technical skills ? Word, Excel, MS Office, Visio, & PowerPoint
Experience with enterprise network resources like SharePoint, VPN access, Active Directory security, & custom web based management tools
Report preparation and analysis
Use of a keyboard, mouse, laptop, & office equipment
Domestic Travel up t o 75%
